State-Adopted Instructional Materials

Region 5 ESC provides support in coordination with the Texas Education Agency in the review, adoption, and distribution of state-adopted instructional materials.

Region 5 ESC provides access to digital copies of instructional materials under consideration for adoption. The digital content and online passcodes arrive in late spring before the selection year.  This allows educators and the general public the opportunity to have input into the state review panel meetings which take place each summer.  During the fall and winter months, the instructional materials are available to local adoption committees to aid them in their selection.
